Associate Packaging Program Manager

The Associate Packaging Program Manager will support product development efforts with enthusiasm, collaboration, and attention to detail. The daily goal is to drive excellence in communication with regular progress updates.

Position is on a contract basis for 3-months with the potential of becoming a full-time permanent employee.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Product Development team on sourcing and research for packaging requirements on new releases
  • Collaborate with U.S. and International vendor teams
  • Keep an eye out for new innovations in packaging, sustainability and recycling within the industry
  • Create a portfolio of local and international vendors for various packaging offerings
  • Collect clear feedback from stakeholders for new project implementations
  • Manage incoming artworks for routing and approvals with the Head of Product Development
  • Coordinate phase changes in the product lifecycle system
  • Work closely with suppliers to track proofs and changes
  • Work on invoice approvals and documentation
  • Work with an amazing team to develop a deep knowledge of packaging & processes

    • Requirements

  • 4+ years experience working with cross-functional packaging teams
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to drive consensus for complex problems with diverse, sometimes conflicting, viewpoints
  • Comfortable in rapid development cycles with challenging goals
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new information and assess impact
  • Experience with design controls and risk management and/or working in a regulated environment.
  • Involvement with high-volume consumer goods a plus
  • Strength in problem-solving and issue resolution
  • Attention to detail in rapid development cycles with challenging goals
  • Ability to influence and motivate a diverse set of people and expectations
  • Capable of distilling opinions into facts to produce better results
  • Get it done attitude and willing to roll up their sleeves to do what needs doing
