ZEN RIDGE FARM

When Ryuma first visited our property in Kneeland, he asked the then owners one question: "On a clear day, can you see the ocean from here [the living room]?" They said, "Oh, Yes. You can clear out to Trinadad Head." Ryuma agreed on the sale that instant. He knew this was somewhere special and he imagined creating a business and growing a family here.

Ryuma and Christi met a few months after Ryuma purchased Zen Ridge. Though it would be several years before they moved up to the Ridge, Ryuma was already envisioning their life together. He took his time organize and develop a fluid infrastructure for the farm. In 2013, Ryuma and his father from Japan as well as a few friends from Orcas Island build a Japanese soaking tub overlooking that promised view of the Pacific ocean. It stands as a moment to this land; to honor the beauty and peace that lives here.

Our Mission is to share the Tranquility of zen ridge. We hope to bring some of the energy, balance and wellness of this place to all who might seek it.
