Vidya Med Clinics were founded by Anesthesiologists-- experts in Anesthesia and Pain Medicine-- who were disappointed by the lack of options for treatment resistant chronic pain and mental illness. We know that there are therapies, well known to Anesthesiologists, that can help. With experience, we have added other non-traditional therapies to our toolbox. Regardless of which location you see us, our independent physicians adhere to principles of caring and compassion. They only succeed when you succeed.

"Vidya" is Sanskrit for Knowledge.  We believe in bringing our knowledge of Medicine to help reduce or eliminate your suffering from Chronic Pain or Depression (with the support of your current mental health provider).  We were founded by Amar Setty, MD who practices in Baltimore, MD.  He is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist and former president of the Maryland Society of Anesthesiology.  He continues to advocate for physicians and patients on the Advisory Board of the Maryland Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP).  Outside of medical practice, he has developed software to monitor and track the efficacy of pain therapy at PainScored.com, now part of the Montuno Software umbrella of telehealth and pharmacovigilance solutions.  Future versions will allow for the daily tracking and monitoring of symptoms of mental illness.
