The Initiative

 The Initiative was created to rebalance the gender discrepancy in the cannabis industry.   As cannabis becomes more mainstream, we are seeing many of the same issues that plague women entrepreneurs in other industries—including bias in funding and challenges raising money, lack of traditional business training and a corporate space predisposed towards men. The Initiative brings the following pieces together to cause a statistically significant shift in the number of female founders and leaders:

In-class accelerator program with a focus on female founded, consumer goods businesses with an aggressive growth strategy

Special “office hours” for strategic advice, growth planning and specific issue resolution

Networking and educational events for women around the country to come, connect and engage in solution oriented programming

Executive and leadership training programs to help give women the skills they need to rise into corporate leadership positions.
