RxCannaCare was founded by Twompson Prater. Born and raised in Northern California, he has been a part of the cannabis community for most of his life.  He is known as a master grower and cannabis advocate, with a passion for science and chemistry. This skill set has allowed him to be at the forefront of the CBD skincare industry with award-winning products.

RxCannaCare was formed out of love for a family member but it was soon clear the brand was meant for everyone. Twompson’s younger sister was suffering from dry skin issues, and this led to the original Canna Cream™ formula. Canna Cream was handcrafted and no expense was spared when sourcing the highest quality all-natural ingredients from around the world. After seeing the results on his little sister, and then on longtime friend and Cancer patient Meghan Koziel, the company was born.
