Rachael Z. Ardanuy, Attorney at Law, P.C.

Rachael graduated from the Florida State University earning Bachelor's degrees in Business Management and Real Estate. She then managed a corporate restaurant and obtained a real estate sales associate license in Florida. After a few years of working in the restaurant industry, Rachael attended law school at Florida Coastal School of Law where she interned at the Florida Supreme Court and received awards for dedication to pro bono service.

Rachael began her legal career in Jacksonville, Florida where she worked closely with her clients on their legal issues in family law, civil and criminal litigation, estate planning, probate and guardianship. Following a number of vacations to Colorado to visit family and friends, Rachael and her husband David decided it is where they wanted to begin the next chapter of their lives.

Since moving to Colorado in 2015, Rachael has dedicated her legal career to exclusively helping patients, entrepreneurs, investors, landlords and others navigate the often-complex and ever-changing laws, rules, regulations and trends of the Cannabis industry in Colorado and Florida.

Rachael actively engages with regulators, lawmakers, stakeholders, and those interested in joining the Cannabis industry. She has participated in a rule-making work group to aid the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division in creating rules to implement new marijuana legislation and has lobbied with Denver NORML to sponsor legislation to protect employees from discrimination for marijuana use. In her dedication to normalizing the industry, Rachael authored and presented a webinar to introduce attorneys and law students to cannabis law and how various areas of practice are impacted by and relevant to the burgeoning U.S. cannabis industry, and has spoken on numerous podcasts, presentations and panels on cannabis law topics.

Rachael draws on her diverse experiences in business management, real estate, family law, civil and criminal litigation and estate planning to provide well-rounded legal and business advice to help clients achieve their desired goals.

When she isn't running RZA Legal, Rachael spend time playing with her two young children, teaching Jazzercise classes, attending concerts, hiking trails, and making mosaic artwork.
