Mr. Delsack is a nimble thinker with pragmatic ideas grounded in solid business realities. Passionate about entertainment, and technology, he is adept with licensing, content monetization, and the internet. He also brings his conceptual and real-world savvy to commercial and residential real estate deals and large and small business transactions and concerns. He also advises startups in an advisory board member capacity.
The Friendly Entrepreneur
13 years into a lively corporate career in technology development and management consulting — a consultant at three of the world’s largest accounting and management consulting firms and then in-house at Viacom Inc. (MTV Networks, VH1, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, TV Land & Paramount Pictures), Craig recognized his opportunity in the law.
After graduating cum laude from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Mr. Delsack joined Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP, and practiced corporate law and real estate law for technology clients such as Nippon Telephone and Telegraph, and real estate empires including Insignia/ESG and Brause Realty. Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP brought him into its corporate/technology/internet group, where he worked on emerging technology, internet, entertainment and theme-park deals, and clients including Priceline.com, national banks, and various internet and tech startups.
Mr. Delsack later joined the technology, media, and telecommunications practice at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, where he worked with Fox broadcast stations, Fox Cable networks, HGTV, FoodTV, DIY Network, YES Network, Univision, Galavision, TeleFutura, among other television networks; outsourcing companies and an international fast-food chain. But his entrepreneurial dreams were intact, and he left “big firm” life to start the Law Offices of Craig Delsack, LLC.
Leveraging Craig’s broad legal and business experience, the firm drafts, reviews and negotiates business, technology and various intellectual property agreements for its various clients, including Cisco Systems, Inc., MiMusica and AMC Network’s cable channels such as AMC, IFC, Sundance channel and WEtv. The firm also acts as general counsel for many tech startups and established companies related to media, entertainment, technology, social media, the internet, and manufacturing — performing work in real estate, employment, licensing, business formation, mergers and acquisitions, and general business matters; providing practical and cost-effective “white-shoe big law firm” legal and business advice to startups, small and large businesses and individuals.
