John J Placht, CPA, PC

John started his experience working for a local CPA firm, while attending college in Saint Louis. While working there he learned about how small businesses operated and what they needed from their accountant. He spent twelve years at this firm and was the tax partner before leaving to work for one of his clients who contemplated going public. John learned the import wholesale distribution business as their treasurer, helping them through two sales of their company. He then left to work for an international public accounting firm doing tax work, before starting my own firm in 1989.
