SETTING THE STAGE 
On January 1, 2011, my grandmother passed away after a 3 year battle with lung cancer. As sad as it was to watch her pass, something beautiful came from it. A sense of motivation I had never felt before; a strong desire to better myself. At this point in my life, I was overweight, introverted, depressed and I’d been smoking cigarettes since 13. She was, is and will always serve as my source of inspiration behind the company I founded, Goldleaf Limited.

HOMEOSTASIS 
Each and every one of us struggles with different ailments and/or a mindset that holds us back both mentally and physically. These obstacles can prevent us from living a balanced and happy life. Whether it's the food we eat, the bottle we drink from or the shampoo we put into our hair, everything that we use and consume has a profound effect on our body.

INSPIRATION 
The recent spike in popularity of CBD products is undeniable and being a health conscious person, I was naturally intrigued when I first discovered this a couple of years ago. I’m also one of those people who love to research so I began looking at various CBD brands to see what they had to offer. I must have come across 40 companies claiming their CBD was the best. With so many options to choose from it was overwhelming, to say the least, and my struggles didn’t end there– I also noticed another concerning trend in the marketplace, a complete lack of customer transparency. Having experienced anxiety from hemp’s sister plant, marijuana it was important that I knew there were only trace amounts of THC in what I was going to eventually put in my body. So where were the test results? Where was the paperwork showing what I was buying was legitimate? Furthermore, if I was going to spend $50+ how would I know I’d be getting a high-quality product?

THE BEGINNING 
All of this uncertainty sparked an idea... one, I quickly became obsessed with developing. For the past 2 years, I began learning more about the hemp plant, connecting with industry experts and evaluating CBD oil from California to New York. Doing all of this with one bold goal in mind; to source, the very best CBD the country has to offer and to develop a line of products that are superior from the rest. My criteria was focused on identifying the highest level of potency, effectiveness and purity. I promised myself that my own line of CBD products would not veer from this criteria. As a result, we’ve launched a tastefully presented product line I can proudly stand behind and promote with confidence as all of our products are free of toxins, pesticides and heavy metals. Additionally, we source our CBD from American grown organic hemp and manufacture every bottle with the love and attention they deserve because as consumers ourselves we care about what we put in our bodies.
