Etnothecarium-Botica natural was born with the reunion of a group of friends after appreciating the Colombian problem during the completion of their postgraduate studies abroad. These reflections led to the establishment of a company that seeks to contribute to the economic growth of the country and the improvement of health, through the transformation of plants with therapeutic and nutritional properties, making use of the opportunities offered by Colombia as a mega-diverse country. and multicultural. Thus, the ethnographic, legal and natural sciences meet in a business project capable of transmitting this information to the productive sectors in an inclusive and sustainable manner.

Etnothecarium-Botica natural seeks to position itself in 2019 as a leading company in the national and international market of plant-based products with therapeutic properties, using cutting-edge technologies such as methods of extraction of steam entrainment and supercritical fluid, in addition to solid programs of investigation. By the year 2021, we seek to establish ourselves as an important employment generating company for the region, promoting the retention of qualified personnel, within a framework of inclusion and pluriculturalism as mothers head of families, ethnic minorities and demobilized members of armed groups from all regions of Colombia.

To elaborate and offer medicinal products and cosmetics based on plants with aromatic and therapeutic properties through the creation of a laboratory of extraction and processing of fats and oils of natural origin in the department of Tolima and the departments of the coffee axis.
