Our industrial hemp processing facility is located in Knoxville, Tennessee, and it’s projected to be fully operational by the end of 2018. Once it is, Blühen Botanicals will be the largest hemp biomass processing and extraction facility in Tennessee and one of the largest in the Southeast. We will be capable of processing 2,000 pounds of hemp biomass per day with the potential to rapidly scale output beyond that capacity to create jobs and help put Tennessee farmers back to work.

CBD is one of many compounds known as cannabinoids in the hemp plant, and is extracted from the biomass. One of its most exciting applications is in the use of high-performance wellness and cosmetic products, which Blühen plans to produce and bring to market by 2019.

In addition to extracting CBD oil from industrial hemp biomass to produce high-quality consumer products, Blühen Botanicals consults with their farming partners to develop best practices for high-yield crop production, conducts genetics research and development on industrial hemp, and sells wholesale CBD crude oil distillate, isolate and THC-free full-spectrum oil.
