AmeriCann is developing projects throughout the country in regulated markets through the Preferred Partner Program. The facilities we are developing are designed with the principles of traditional horticulture and utilize a lean manufacturing perspective. A great example of which is our Massachusetts Cannabis Center, or ‘MCC’.
The MCC consists of a planned 1 Million square feet of growing space that is zoned for both Recreational and Medicinal cultivation.
The first phase of the MCC project is under construction and is on schedule for completion by August of 2019. The first phase of the project is Building 1, a 30,000 square foot cultivation and processing facility. Building 1 is 100% leased for 15-years to AmeriCann’s JV Partner Bask, Inc.
AmeriCann has purchase a 52 acre parcel of land located in Southeastern Massachusetts. The property, located in a Recreational and Medical Marijuana Overlay district, has been permitted and is being developed as a center of excellence for the cannabis industry serving medical patients and adult-use consumers in Massachusetts.
The first phase of the project is currently under construction and is expected to be complete in August of 2019.
The Company developing the property as the Massachusetts Cannabis Center “MCC”. Plans for the MCC include the construction of sustainable greenhouse cultivation, processing, and infused product facilities that will be leased to Registered Marijuana Dispensaries under the Massachusetts Medical Marijuana Program. Additional plans for the MCC include a testing laboratory, a research facility, a training center and corporate offices.
The design of the MCC development will set a new cannabis industry standard for energy efficiency, cost control, clean cultivation practices, and the production of Neutraceutical-grade infused products for the patients of Massachusetts.
Each operator will have dedicated space designed to be 100% self-sufficient to comply with the regulations set forth by the Cannabis Control Commission.
