420 Carpenter - Recreational
On July 8th 2014, Washington State officially legalized the recreational use and possession on marijuana products. Days later, 420 Carpenter had its grand opening as the first cannabis retailer in Thurston County. Greeted by nearly 100 eager customers lined up outside our door, we sold our two options of flower, one indica, one sativa, until we were sold out. Business went on like that that for a few weeks as there were just a few farms ready to sell their products when the recreational market first opened.

420 Carpenter opened its doors on July 11th, 2014 and became Thurston County's first recreational marijuana retailer. As we outgrew our small storefront, we expanded our store into the massive shopping space we have today. The upbeat mood in this store is undeniable and even on the busiest of days we always are sure to give each guest our undivided attention while helping them find the best product for their needs. This customer based focus along with our everyday low prices have earned us the Best of the South Sound award each year.
