Cultivation Compliance Auditor

As a Cultivation Compliance Auditor at Trulieve, you will be responsible for supporting compliance operations at various locations throughout the state of Florida. This role reports to the Cultivation Director and supports our operations team by assisting with internal and external compliance audits for a fast-paced, energetic cannabis business.

  • Tracks and sends regular reminders for recurring operational inspections.
  • Electronically organizes and maintains all compliance documents, using the company's internal document control system
  • Handles all calendaring and scheduling of DOH inspections and ensures sites are inspection ready.
  • Works with Cultivation Director to prepare Site Audits and scoring systems.
  • Prepare weekly compliance status report for Cultivation Director
  • Prepares and Audits all Cultivation Inventory (plant and consumables) to ensure compliance with internal SOPs
  • Working with Site Managers develop corrective action plans
  • Manage cultivation projects assigned
  • Any other task assigned by the Cultivation Director
  • Required Experience, Skills and Abilities:

  • 1+ years of legal or compliance experience at a law firm or in-house
  • Experience with cannabis regulation or related regulated industries
  • Preferred PC, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Adobe proficiency required
  • Accuracy and high attention to detail a must
  • Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulness
  • Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment
  • Possesses a high level of critical thinking
  • Additional Requirements

  • Florida Driver's License or ability to obtain one.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Minimum Education and Experience

  • Four year college degree preferred
  • 3+ years' experience processing cannabis in a regulated facility preferred.
  • Previous experience in licensed cannabis production facility preferred.
  • Working Conditions

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, carrying, sitting, and repetitive motions.
  • Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 40 pounds, manage stairs, and perform typical cleaning of facilities and equipment.
  • Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 60 hours per week and will be available "after hours" if an emergency situation should arise.
