Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager will manage the day-to-day marketing activities and long-term marketing strategy for the company.

We are looking for someone comfortable in an individual, self-sufficient role, as well as one of team support and interaction. This opportunity requires project management and marketing campaign execution experience, strong communication skills, very detail-oriented and creative problem-solving skills. A positive attitude is a must, with the ability to achieve success by engaging with multiple departments, personalities and work styles.

Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Evaluate, develop and maintain a marketing strategy with the goal of building brand awareness, positioning and driving sales.
  • Lead internal and external communication of strategic marketing plan.
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution.
  • Data driven measurement and reporting on the performance of marketing campaigns. Assess against goals and use findings to adjust campaigns accordingly.
  • Research competitors, competitive positioning, and demand for the organization's products and services.
  • Research, communicate and showcase the organization's value propositions and offerings.
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors.
  • Organize conferences, trade shows, and major events schedules including managing submission schedule for speaker proposals for key staff.
  • Manage, coordinate and direct outside marketing resources including vendors, contractors and agencies.
  • Lead regular meetings to track progress on marketing projects and product launches
  • Manage public relations and press messaging, relationships and resources.
  • Manage the editorial calendar including soliciting, directing, and editing content for technically focused blogs, website content, social media content, sales campaigns and white papers.
  • Experience / Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in marketing, business administration, or communications, or Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years related marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated strong marketing campaign experience.
  • Proficiency with G Suite for Business, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and a portfolio of social media platforms.
  • Proven ability to recruit and manage resources across multiple marketing disciplines (e.g., PR, web marketing, demand generation, engineering) to execute high impact marketing.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to display skills in both project management and asset management tools.
  • Outstanding speaking, writing, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to persuade, inspire, and motivate others.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
  • Technical writing experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Bilingual English / Spanish preferred.
