Canopy Growth is searching for an individual who can offer direct Desktop Support who also has a wide range of technological knowledge and competencies. Our ideal candidate will augment the existing IT team and help manage our aggressive expansion. This team is responsible for maintaining healthy company systems and network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Implement Canopy Growth Infrastructure across existing and new sites through established standards and practices;
  • Administration of office communications equipment (PBX, VoIP systems);
  • Video Conferencing equipment;
  • Help desk support for local as well as remote users;
  • Hardware and software asset management, including mobile devices;
  • Active Directory administration;
  • Computer setup, installs, deployment;
  • User tickets covering regarding hardware, software and networking;
  • Applications and computer peripherals installs;
  • Inquire about document user issues and test fix options until resolution;
  • Guide users through procedures;
  • Customize desktop applications to meet user needs;
  • Document technical issues and solutions in logs;
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel;
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional;
  • Report customer feedback and potential product requests;
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Experience

  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments;
  • Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners;
  • Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs;
  • Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions;
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills;
  • Customer-oriented attitude.

    This is a full-time position based out of Montreal.
