Compliance Officer

We are looking for a very organized and detail-oriented individual to join our quality team. This individual will maintain and produce reports, author procedures, and work in collaboration with different departments to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement training strategies for standard operating procedures
  • Perform Quality Management System compliance audits and determine system improvements. Assist in writing and updating standard operating procedures when necessary.
  • Ensure corrective and preventative actions are implemented appropriately.
  • Audit cannabis plants, dried cannabis and waste inventory.
  • Lead loss and theft investigations.
  • Produce yearly, quarterly, monthly and other inventory control related reports as required by the ACMPR
  • Manage contract and quality agreements between Tweed and production related contract services.
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of Tweeds Quality Management System.
  • Management of security access and video footage review
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Experience and Background

  • Experience with document management
  • Experience with GMP or other regulated work environment is an asset
  • Experience in audits/ inspections is an asset
  • Self-directed individual and ability to work independently
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Fast learner who has experience working in a fast paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Ability to prioritize and balance a variety of projects simultaneously

    This is a full-time position based out of Smiths Falls. Depending on your seniority and what you bring to the table, well figure everything else out.
