About UX and the Cannabis Industry - Design, Tech & Recreation
With the passage of Proposition 64 (legalization of recreational marijuana use), the California cannabis industry is experiencing a period of rapid growth! There are businesses, brands, products, and services populating streets, strip malls and billboards all over the LA Area.
In this design and movement mini-festival, we'll explore:
• What's it like to work for a cannabis company? Is your career stigmatized by association?
• How is design influencing the cannabis industry?
• Where is the cannabis industry headed in growth and design and how can you become a part of it?
Whether you’re a professional looking to transition careers into the cannabis industry, a "canna-professional" looking to keep up to date with whats going on, or a business owner that is looking to add talent to your team, join us for a mini-festival of body movement, meditation, music, talks, good food and commraderie! We'll have some great food and a "no-host" bar so bring some cash!
